Youth’s Experience of Peer-to-Peer Sexual Violence Online, Social Norms and Youth-Led Recommendations for Prevention and Response: A Cross-Regional Study (2023 - 2025)
KAACR in partnership with Royal Roads University (RRU) and Terre des Hommes (TdH) Albania are conducting a study on Youth’s Experience of Peer-to-Peer Sexual Violence Online. This is a carefully collated research partnership has been drawn together for this particular project.
This project is led by a research university in Canada (Royal Roads University (RRU)) known for community-based and action research. The partners include three leading child-and-youth-focused not-for-profit partners (the International Institute for Child Rights and Development (IICRD), Terre des hommes Foundation Albania (Tdh), and the Kenya Alliance for the Advancement of Children (KAACR).
The team has context and methodological expertise, as well as demonstrated passion and experience in working with children and youth, participatory and action-based research, CSEA, and a growing expertise in online safety. The partners bring an understanding and a network within the three countries where the research will take place, Canada, Albania and Kenya. Collectively and individually, the team has a demonstrated record of effective creative knowledge mobilisation across different audiences (public, professional and academic).
