She Leads Project (2021-2025)

KAACR is part of the She Leads is a joint initiative of Plan International Netherlands, Terre des Hommes Netherlands, Defence for Children – ECPAT Netherlands, and The African Women’s Development and Communication Network (FEMNET), and in strategic partnership with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Netherlands under the Power of Voices Framework for the period 2021-2025, and Equal Measures 2030 as a technical partner.

Youth’s Experience of Peer-to-Peer Sexual Violence Online, Social Norms and Youth-Led Recommendations for Prevention and Response: A Cross-Regional Study (2023 - 2025)

KAACR in partnership with ILO is carrying of a project on Strengthening Capacity of Governments to Address Child Labor and/or Forced Labor, and Violations of Acceptable Conditions of Work in Sub Saharan Africa (CAPSA). KAACR is implementing the project in Kwale county amongst other five counties in Kenya.

Strengthening Communities to Respond to Effects of Climate Change as a measure to curb Child Labour (SCRECCCL) (2024 - 2026)

The project being implemented by the Children at Risk (CaR) Coalition i.e. KAACR, African Divine Church and Pillars Care Foundation in partnership with Kerk in Actie (KiA)addresses effects of climate change to the community and support children involved in or at risk of child labor, with specific focus on child domestic work, their families and communities to effectively adopt alternative ways of life that promote understanding on climate change and child protection.

Youth and Children Empowerment 2024

Kenya Alliance for Advancement of Children (KAACR) in partnership with United Church of Canada has been implementing a project on Youth and Children Empowerment in 3 Counties of Kisumu, Vihiga and Kakamega in Western Kenya. The project aims at empowering key stakeholders to understand problems affecting children and youth to be able to develop appropriate intervention

Creating safe environments in homes, schools and communities to build the agency and resilience of Children & Young people in Kanamai, Mtwapa Kilifi, Kenya, 2024

The project being implemented by the Kilifi PVAC cluster composed of KAACR, Social Community Development (SCD) and CLEK sin partnership with CRVPF aims at addressing violence and sexual violence, against children and young people in Kanamai, Kilifi PVAC cluster has been implementing a one-year project focused on preventing such violence

Capsa Project 2024
