Kenya Alliance for Advancement of Children (KAACR) in partnership with United Church of Canada has been implementing a project on Youth and Children Empowerment in 3 Counties of Kisumu, Vihiga and Kakamega in Western Kenya.

The project aims at empowering key stakeholders to understand problems affecting children and youth to be able to develop appropriate intervention.  The objectives of the project are to: –

• Increase Capacity of Boys and Girls to better plan respond to Effects of climate Change around schools and community.
• Increase Capacity of Youth Groups to actively Engage Duty bearers on Climate Friendly policies
• Enhance enrolment and retention of deserving Cases of Boys and girls through School fees subsidy
• Support exchange visit to boys and girls to share success stories in responding to climate
